Option 1: iPad apps for K-Y2
Date: Friday 26th April
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Cost: $75
Descriptor: Explore a range of free or low cost iPad apps for integration throughout a range of curriculum subjects. I will connect my iPad wirelessly to a data projector so that all apps can viewed by all participants. Participants can then download some free apps on their own iPad if they like or have a play on one of two iPads. There will also be time for participants to share apps if they choose.

Date: Friday 26th April
Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm
Cost: $75

Option 3: Create your own Weebly website
Date: Monday 15th April
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Suitability: Reception – Year 6 Teachers
Cost: $150
Descriptor: Thinking about creating your own class website or blog but don’t know where to start? If so, this session is for you. No prior knowledge or experience in web creation is needed. You will learn the basics and at the end of the day you will walk away with your very own website!

Option 4: Ideas for teaching digital citizenship
Date: Wednesday 24th April
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Suitability: Primary and Secondary (up to Year 9) teachers
Cost: $150
Descriptor: Let’s face it, our students are ICT savvy and education is becoming (if not already) reliant on online digital resources through the Internet. But do you and/or your students know how to use it according to the copyright guidelines? If not, then this session is for you. We will explore copy right, creative commons and your responsibilities as a digital citizen. We will also explore how to teach elements of Internet safety from Reception to Year 9.
Refreshments, morning tea and lunch will be provided

Option 5: SMART board training and Notebook Creation
Date: Tuesday 23rd April
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Suitability: Primary
Cost: $150
Descriptor: This day will be based on the requirements of participants. Beginner, intermediate to advanced skills will be explored depending on the requirements of those who register. If you register for this event, I will ask you questions in relation to your needs prior to the day so that you are guaranteed to gain the skills and knowledge your’re seeking. The day will be personalised around participants requests.
