Student Cognitive Diversity: ADHD and Education?

We all know that every student can learn and that learning differently requires teaching using different strategies. However, what do we do differently for our students with ADHD? The video below questions one’s thoughts on ADHD. The speaker, Stephan Tonti has ADHD himself and describes ADHD as a difference in cognition, not a disorder. He describes ADHD as the inability to focus on tasks that don’t seem important to the self and the ‘obsessive’ attention to tasks that inspire the self.
