New-look Australian Curriculum website linked to Scootle

The Australian Curriculum website has received a make over. There is no change to the actual curriculum, just how it is presented. The website, retaining its current address, is easier to navigate, especially the Humanities and Social Science page. This page uses a tile effect for ease of navigation.

For each content descriptor, there is also a link to suggested Scootle resources. For those who aren’t familiar with Scootle, it is a national digital learning repository which provides Australian teachers with access to more than 20,000 digital learning items, provided by a wide array of contributors and aligned to core areas of the Australian Curriculum. Furthermore, is is free for Australian teachers. Suggested Scootle resources also appear in other subject areas for each content descriptor.
